Miss Nepal is the beauty selected to represent Nepal in international beauty pageants. It’s not only Miss Nepal 2013 Ishani Shrestha, every Nepali representative in beauty contests are Miss Nepal.

In near future, a movie named ‘Miss Nepal’ is releasing in theater. Some people have raised question on the credibility of naming the movie after Miss Nepal. The movie made on beauty contests and behind the scene issues is being criticized for undermining the beauty contest. While Miss Nepal contestants should be unmarried, the Miss Nepal in the movie, Suvekshya Thapa, is the mother of a teenager daughter.


The organizer of  Miss Nepal beauty contest, Hidden Treasure, hasn’t opened its mouth yet. Some remember the organization’s odd behavior when one of ex-Miss Nepal, Malina Joshi, participated in Miss Asia Pacific 2013.
